How it all works.
Once we’ve partnered with a new client, we start our onboarding process with our Logistics Evaluation and Optimization (LEO) Audit, which helps us really get to know you and your business. We’ll identify your goals, both short-term and long, as well as use a set of key metrics to uncover the opportunities and threats that lie in your current supply chain. This is our chance to really gain a full understanding of your company, and how we can provide the unparalleled service that Compass is known for.
Key metrics evaluated during the LEO Audit include:
Market analysis
Collaborative industry analysis
Past shipment flows (including monthly & annual volumes)
Sales cycles
Exception management
Carrier allocation
Current service issues
Carrier and Client capabilities
Vendor metrics (including lead time, packing and load capabilities, documentation and systems)
Once we have completed our audit and have consulted with you regarding the findings to ensure we’re in agreement, we will then design a fully transparent and testable logistics strategy that seeks to help you reach, and even surpass the goals we’ve laid out, as well as eliminate any inefficiencies and potential threats to your supply chain. Upon approval, we will begin the onboarding process for Compass Nexus, our proprietary client portal. You can learn more about the Compass Nexus Program here.
